I'm hoping to join the upcoming cohort cycle (Fall 2025 - Spring 2026) I can't take part in the upcoming cohort cycle, but would like to apply early for the subsequent cohort cycle (Spring 2026 - Fall 2026). I'm not sure: I'd like to learn more before deciding. As a standard part of our application process, we hold 20 to 30-minute Zoom conversations with prospective Fellows to understand more about their teaching context. During this conversation, we're happy to answer any questions you may have to help you decide whether MTLE feels like the right fit for you, and if so, what may be the best time to join a cohort. If you decide to join a later cohort, we'll roll over your existing application to that semester. (No need to reapply.)Program ParticipationTo take part in the fellowship, we ask that you commit to the following: Attend the 2-day Faculty Institute on Teaching (FIT) program kickoff event before your first semester in the program. Attend 90-minute weekly sessions during the two semesters you take part in the cohort. These sessions span each 15-week semester (excluding breaks). We determine weekly session times based on cohort members' availabilities. We acknowledge you may miss a session or two due to professional commitments and unforeseen circumstances. The Faculty Institute on Teaching (FIT) will occur on the following dates: Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 Cohort Cycle: August 20-21st, 2025 Spring 2026 - Fall 2026 Cohort Cycle: Dates TBD (likely January 14-15th, 2026) The following events and weekly sessions are required for acceptance into the program.
